Handmade and hand-painted jugs from Spain
These ceramic jugs can be used for serving water, juice, and other cold drinks, but are also decorative with a bouquet of flowers or simply as a beautiful element in your interior decor. With their vibrant colors and hand-painted patterns, they are lovely to place directly on the table.
Setting a beautiful and inviting table has always brought me great joy, and I especially love mixing and matching colors, shapes, and patterns to give the table a lively and personal expression. This Spanish ceramics collection offers plenty of opportunities for that, as the jugs are beautiful on their own and complement the other pieces in the series when different patterns are combined in various ways.
The jugs are produced by the family-owned ceramics manufacturer **Artesanía León** in La Rambla, Andalusia, where the craft has been passed down through four generations since 1906.
For centuries, La Rambla has been known as one of Spain’s most important pottery towns. Here, knowledge of clay, shaping, glazing, and decoration has been handed down from generation to generation. The traditional craftsmanship is combined with vibrant colors and hand-painted patterns, giving each jug its own unique character.
Since the jugs are shaped and decorated by hand, no two are exactly alike. Small variations in shape, glaze, color, and brushstrokes are therefore a natural and beautiful part of the craftsmanship. After several firings at very high temperatures, the ceramics gain the strength that makes the jugs suitable both for everyday use and for a festively set table.
