I value quality and am happy to acquire things that can withstand years of use and wear. That’s certainly the case with the garden tools from the Dutch company DeWit. Here, we’re talking about solid craftsmanship made from hardened boron steel, manufactured at the company in the small northern Dutch town of Kornhorn. All handles are made from Dutch ash wood.
My enthusiasm for DeWit’s tools grew even more when I was introduced to their tools with ergonomic handles, for which I now have exclusive distribution rights.
They are especially brilliant if you have problems with your hands, elbows, or shoulders. See what the Danish Rheumatism Association writes:
“In our reference group here at the Danish Rheumatism Association, we have tested DeWit garden tools, and they have been approved. It is especially the length of the handle, the extra grip at the end, as well as the weight and the solid materials, that have convinced the reference group that this type of truly unique garden tool can be of benefit and joy to, among others, people with arthritis.”
Along with a planting trowel, cultivator, hand fork, and hoe, the garden hoe is good to have at hand. The sharp edges and point make the blade move effortlessly through the soil.
