Throughout my roughly thirty-year gardening career, I have always worn an apron. It has become part of my image, but above all, I wear the apron for purely practical reasons. Not only because it protects my clothes, but also because the pockets can hold tools and other necessities.
In fact, I feel undressed without the apron. Not just in the garden, but also in the kitchen.
In the spring of 2024, I was introduced at a German garden fair to an Italian brand – OUT-FIT, which offers clothing for garden enthusiasts. The company, based in Milan, is known for its rustic look and unsurpassed quality.
All models are made from durable fabric (60% cotton and 40% polyester) as well as snap fasteners, buttons, and zippers that can withstand the elements.
