Memory game with Tove Jansson’s beloved Moomins and the original illustrations from the charming Moomin universe.
The classic memory game is simple, cozy, and educational. The cards are placed face down, and players take turns flipping over two cards at a time in an attempt to find a matching pair. If you find two identical cards, you keep them—otherwise, they are turned face down again. The goal is to remember where the different images are hidden.
The Moomins were created by the Finnish-Swedish author, artist, and illustrator Tove Jansson. The first book about the Moomins was published in 1945, and since then the universe has grown into a long series of books, comics, and illustrations, which are now loved by both children and adults all over the world.
Tove Jansson’s distinctive and imaginative drawings are a very special part of the Moomin universe. With her simple and lively line, she created the well-known characters such as Moomintroll, Moominmamma, Moominpappa, Snorkmaiden, Little My, and Snufkin. The illustrations are full of charm, humor, and personality and have, through generations, helped make Moominvalley and its many inhabitants one of the Nordic region’s most beloved universes.
