Elves have always held a special place in my heart, and the charming Ribe Elves from Ib Laursen are certainly no exception.

These little elves are full of personality and have the loveliest, nostalgic look, which fits perfectly with a cozy Danish Christmas. There’s something truly special about them—perhaps because they feel both familiar and at the same time each has its own little quirk.

Each Ribe Elf has its own name, age, and story. Take Ejnar, for example, who is 389 Christmas Eves old. His skis are always ready behind the door in the old shoemaker’s workshop, and when Ribe sleeps and the snow falls, he puts them on. He especially loves being the first to make tracks in the fresh snow—his very own way of wishing everyone a Merry Christmas.
