Ribenissen Ingeborg with knitting B: 5.8 cm H: 8.8 cm L: 7 cm

Ingeborg – Age: 403 Christmas Eves I sit in the attic above the old merchant’s house, knitting while the sounds from the courtyard hum below. I dye my own yarn with lichen and rowan – I always have. When the wind rattles the roof tiles, I count stitches in time with the gusts. They say you can hear my needles clicking on Christmas Eve, if you stand still.
