Perhaps you remember the now late gardener, Helge Petersen, who for a number of years could be heard on the radio and later seen on TV?
Helge originally came from Norway and is remembered by many for his charming accent.
The reason I mention Helge here is that he invented a brilliant seed drill – the ‘Saalet’, which is now being re-introduced …
The seed drill is simply ingenious and can be used for all sizes of vegetable and herb seeds, which are distributed using six included seed wheels with holes.
When the machine is pushed across the soil, it makes a sowing furrow, dispenses the seeds, and covers them again.
An included instruction manual provides detailed guidance on its use.
