THE CLOVELLY SOAP COMPANY
In my search for truly special products, I came across The Clovelly Soap Company – a small family-owned business from the beautiful coastal town of Clovelly in North Devon, in the southwest of England.
Here, everything is made the old-fashioned way and in small batches. The soaps are crafted with natural oils and fine fragrances, and several varieties contain seaweed from the coast around Clovelly. Every single soap is hand-wrapped, so the quality craftsmanship follows the product all the way.
And then there’s the packaging, which I find exceptionally beautiful. The botanical designs are created by artist Rachael Ayers and are inspired by the ingredients and the nature surrounding Clovelly.
It was precisely the combination of traditional craftsmanship, wonderful scents, and beautiful packaging that made me fall in love with these products.
